  • How is the neighbourhood?
    The hotel is situated in a residential area. So the area is well taken care of but it also means that there is a noise curfew. At 10 pm it needs to be quiet outside, so the neighbours will not have any inconveniece of our guests.
  • Is this hotel part of a chain?
    Yes, the management of Dutch Design Hotel Vondelpark is Aeon Plaza Hotels, which has been astablished in 1996. Check for more information about Aeon Plaza Hotels our about page.
  • Are pets allowed?
    No, pets are not allowed unless this is medical necessary (service dog, e.g.)
  • Can we park our car at your hotel?
    We recommend that you do not come by car, or park at the edge of Amsterdam. Parking by the hotel is possible, but quite expensive. Check Park and ride for all available garages. Parking RAI is the nearest from the hotel. The hotel info you find under Guest info. Or you can also park at our sister hotel Dutch Design Hotel Artemis for 38€ per 24 hours, including 2 Gvb Tickets
  • Where is the hotel located?
    Dutch Design Hotel Vondelpark is located right at the green hart of the center, The Vondelpark. Tram #2 will take you right to us from Central Station. Our address is: Waldeck Pyrmontlaan 9 1075 BT Amsterdam The Netherlands
  • When is check-in/out?
    Our check-in time is from 15.00h. We cannot guarantee early arrivals, so if you would like to be sure your room is ready early in the moring then we advise you to book the extra night before. Check-out is at 12.00h (noon), late check-out is available upon request and will cost extra.
  • Do you provide airport shuttle service?
    We do not offer airport shuttle service, but we are more than happy to help you book your taxi with our taxi contact Robbie's Taxi.
  • What kind of roomtypes do you have?
    In total, we have 42 hotel rooms. We have Single room, double rooms, Queen rooms and King rooms. Every room with its own Dutch design toutch.
  • Are you wheelchair friendly?
    Sorry to say that we are not. Our building wasn't structured to be wheelchair accessible. The hallways are too narrow to navigate, and the rooms are not equipped to assist guests with disabilities.
  • What kind of facilities are there in the room?
    There is free WiFi available, airconditioning, walk-in shower, flatscreen TV, towels, shampoo and soap. If you need coffee or tea, there will be a machine available 24/7 for you in the breakfast area. Feel free to get your cafeïne boost if you need it.
  • Is breakfast included in the price?
    Breakfast is not included in the price and can be provided at an additional cost of €9.50 per person.
  • I have a question regarding my invoice.

  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Our cancellation policy may vary depending on the type of reservation and the rate selected. Please refer to the specific cancellation policy mentioned during the reservation process or contact our front desk for further details.
  • Can I book a room with you?
    Yes you can! Just click the blue button in the right corner on top and place your booking. Or just click the button here.
  • What time is breakfast?
    Breakfast is served in our breakfast area on the main floor. From 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., you are welcome to join us for breakfast. Please make sure to reserve a spot for breakfast. Our coffee and tea machines will be available 24/7 for you to get your caffeine boost.
  • Are there options for gluten free, lactose free or other allergies available?
    You can inform us upfront via phone and email or let the reception know upon arrival, so that we can take it into account.
  • Do i need to reserve for breakfast?
    We advise you to make a reservation as we have limited space to seat all of you at once.
  • Is smoking allowed?
    No, we are a non-smoking hotel. If you are caught smoking in the room, hallway or tampering with the smoke detectors, you will be fined €250,- Smoking weed in public areas is prohibited in the city center of Amsterdam. It will cost you €100,- if you get caught by the local authorities.
  • Can we bring other guests
    No other guests are allowed than booked for. If suspicion of more people staying in the room a roomcheck will be done. This can result into getting eleminated of the hotel. No refund of the payment will be given when this happens.
  • Is there a noise policy in place at the hotel?
    Yes, as our hotel is located in a residential area, we kindly request our guests to keep the noise level down after 10pm. We strive to maintain a peaceful environment for all our guests and the local community. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a tranquil stay for everyone. Violating these restictions can result into getting eleminated of the hotel. No refund of the payment will be given when this happens.
